Preparation training

During stage 1 you will be expected to learn topics about adoption, and to attend a mandatory 2-day foundation workshop.

We will also ask you to start pulling together an adoption portfolio, which will simply be a record of all the reading, learning and thinking you will be doing in both stage 1 and 2 of this process.

You will also need to complete a self-evaluation of your strengths, capacities and issues that will be explored later in the home study assessment if you go ahead to stage 2.
