The Post Grad Group is open to any parents who have completed a Therapeutic Parenting Course. The sessions are led by Cas Schneider (who also teaches our in-person 16 week Therapeutic Parenting training course). The group also welcomes those parents that haven’t yet completed the course and would simply like to access some additional support.
The Post Grad group is a drop-in session, and is generally a themed discussion about several real-life issues generated by the participants with some attachment-based theory and opportunities to practice PACE. It is a space for parents to meet, feel heard, learn together, travel together and build an adopters’ community for raising children and young people.
There are occasional changes of venue, but it’s always in the Exeter area. Sessions are also run as a hybrid meeting with some participants joining the meeting via Zoom.
The group meets on the first Thursday morning of the month. The next session is
