Support groups for birth mothers

A warm welcome is waiting for you in a safe, supportive space where you can

• meet others with a shared experience of loss
• talk about difficult feelings
• feel less alone
• be accepted as you are
• be supported in moving forwards

We have a mixture of face-to-face and online groups.

Devon: face-to-face groups take place in Plymouth and Exeter where you can meet Jan, Becky and Karen, our Family Practitioners from Adopt South West, who support birth families.

Somerset: Come and meet Joni Kohlman Family Practitioner/counsellor and Kelly Lynes Family Practitioner, who both support birth families. We are a friendly bunch.

We provide a safe, caring space where you can feel supported and listened to by others who have shared similar experiences. At the same time, we want you to be able to have some fun and enjoy the group.
