out you and what you may be bringing to your relationship with your child.
\n\nParents who have attended this group have found it so helpful - both w
ith regards to understanding and supporting their children (and themselves
)\, but also as it helps them feel less alone and provides space to talk w
ith other adopters with similar experiences. As we progress along the cour
se and get to know each other\, the content is adapted to fit with what pa
rticipants want to bring\, ensuring it is relevant to all.\n\nSpaces are l

u will be added to the waiting list for the next course\; dates to be conf
irmed.\n\nThis course will be from Wednesday 1 October to Wednesday 17 Dec
ember 2025\n\n Each session will run for three hours\, 10am to 1pm\n\nThe

d disrupted attachments affects the child’s developmental process.\n To
help adoptive parents reflect on how the child’s early history is enact
ed in the here and now and to increase their understanding of the meaning
behind behaviours.\n To enable adoptive parents to implement a therapeuti
c parenting approach to improve attunement and attachment.\n To reflect o
n the child’s specific attachment difficulties how what this means for t
heir parenting and their family life in general.\n To enable parents to b
