Plan for the future. Free events run by the Apricot Centre:

The Apricot Centre will be running sessions of outdoor wellbeing with young people who are aged 15 to 25 at Dartington. The ‘Plan for the future’ sessions are both during the holidays and at the weekends and will include woodwork, bushcraft skills, foraging and cooking and wellbeing strategies about building self resilience, self confidence and ultimately having a great time outdoors in the woods.

Sessions are from 10.00am to 2.00pm:

  • Saturday 21 and/or Sunday 22 May
  • Monday 30 and/or Tuesday 31 May
  • Saturday 25 and/or Sunday 26 June
  • Thursday 4 and/or Friday 5 August
  • Monday 22 and/or Tuesday 23 August
  • Saturday 17 September
  • Monday 24 and/or Tuesday 25 October

Come to both days or just one, they are free! The sessions are in small groups of six young people and the day will consist of:

  • meeting new people in small group, having a voice, spending time in nature and supporting your wellbeing
  • please wear suitable outdoor clothes
  • lunch will be provided, as well as tea, coffee and biscuits

Come and cook food over the fire. Plan for the future. You will be working with the Apricot Centre’s amazing foraging expert and make a tasty meal using ingredients from the farm.
