Free online workshop with Dr Cassie Jackson from the Centre for FASD (Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder):

In partnership with Adopt South West, Dr Cassie Jackson will be delivering a free online workshop for adopters with children with FASD.

Monday 19 April 2021: 10.30am -1.00pm.

This stand alone workshop is aimed at adopters with children aged 0-18 years who have a diagnosis of FASD. It will be supportive, empowering and practical. Each workshop for adopters will be hosted online using Zoom and limited in numbers, to keep the session small enough to be interactive.

Please book by Monday 8 March 2021; places will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dr Cassie Jackson is a clinical psychologist from the Centre for FASD (Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder). She has over twelve years of post-doctoral experience in working with children and families affected by neurodevelopmental disorders, and in particular, with children who have FASD. The Centre for FASD is a small team based in Suffolk, providing an assessment and intervention service for children and families. Cassie also provides professional training in supporting families affected by FASD across the UK, to schools and virtual schools, social care teams, children’s homes, and NHS paediatric teams to support them in developing FASD services.
