DESCRIPTION:Seven-week online course\, plus 1:1 sessions and a review meeti
 ng\, via Zoom\n\nNon-Violent Resistance (NVR) is a simple and non-physical
  empowering method for families to connect with children of any age\, with
  the aim to support parents who might be starting to see challenging behav
 iour. Gill M Tree\, NVR Trainer and Mentor\, supported by Kelly Lynes from
  Adopt South West\, will be running this virtual course.\n\n 	Tuesday 10 O

 m\n 	Includes seven two-hour sessions in a small group and each family wil

  neurolinguistic programming\, and stress management\, will teach you to:\
 n\n 	de-escalate conflict during emotionally charged incidents\n 	prioriti
 se problematic behaviours with a view to changing them\n 	break the ‘sea
 l of silence’\, overcome your isolation and develop support networks wit
 hin your community\n 	raise your authority through organised protests\n 	r
 epair your relationship through reconciliation gestures\, repair and relat
 ionship-based play\n 	desist in engaging with the behaviour\, to disrupt t
 he learnt and patterned negative behaviour of your child\n 	ensure extreme
  self-care\, practice self -regulation and meet your own needs\n 	develop 
 reflective forms of communication and non-verbal communication\n 	apply th
 e NVR approach to discipline and natural consequences\n 	apply NVR princip
