 These one-hour sessions offer an opportunity to discuss your child’s lif
 e story book with a member of the Adopt South West team\, and:\n\n 	help t
 he child understand why their birth parents could not care for them\n 	giv
 e a child personal / family / cultural history to help form their identity
 \n 	hold the memories for the child\n 	give the child access to informatio
 n to which they have a right\n 	help the child share their history\n\nThe 
 team can provide advice on how and when to use your book\, rewording books
  to make them easier to share with your child and how to compile a life st
 ory book for those children who haven’t got one.
