Date and Time
Date(s) - 29/05/2019
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The young people at RIO have been offered the opportunity by a local centre in South Devon to have a day engaging in natural arts funded by the Art Society.
This day is arranged for the 29 May 2019 which is during May half term and will be from 10.00am – 3.00pm.
Please email us to confirm venue details and to book email@example.com
The group will be creating a group mural and individual mural images, using natural dying and weaving techniques. The day will include a farm walk which will enable young people to collect natural produce for the dying of materials. We will provide a lunch for the group including snacks at breaks.
Places are limited but this is also open to young people who do not currently attend RIO. If your young person would like to attend it would be great if they wore clothing they don’t mind getting dirty and wellies. Not forgetting a coat just in case the rain comes down!
Parents and carers, where possible, should transport their young person to and from the venue. If there are any issues we are happy to discuss supporting transport for young people.
We would also seek permission for photographs to be taken. These photos will not identify the young people, instead they would be just the art work and backs of heads. We will also share the photos with yourselves to check prior to sharing.
Please do contact us to let us know if your young person would like to attend or if you have any further questions. Please email us firstname.lastname@example.org
